Help me people!!
So tomorrow is my last day working at B&N where I have worked since time began, at least it feels like it. I wasn't planning on buying many books, but now I'm having that last minute must use my discount madness running through my brain. I'm getting two picture books to use in my new library.
Then I'm buying a finished copy of POTS, of course, but what else should I pick up. Is The Stolen One really good?! It looks good. Also Secrets of Truth and Beauty looks good. What do you think?! Anything else. Help me spend some money I shouldn't spend.

Hmm, the Sweep Series if you havn't read that, it's about 14 books but the first 13 are the only ones out right now (the last comes out on the 23 I think) by Cate Tiernan. Fairy Tale by Cyn Balog was cute, Generation Dead by Daniel Waters and the sequal Kiss of Life?

You should buy chicken dance and creaky old house for you sister who you love very much
ReplyDeleteIf you do read stuff other than YA I would highly recommend Kim Harrison's urban fantasy series - The Hollows. It's one of my all-time favourites!
ReplyDeleteI remember the day I left my store and it was a mad dash to get all that I wanted with my employee discount, too! Hahah! And I miss it SO much - especially now that I buy MORE books because I have a better paying job. ;)
I am excited for your new job - it sounds like a dream to me!
If you want something new that's good- get "Crash Into You" its great but depressing!
ReplyDeleteMy Fair Godmother and Just One Wish by Janette Rallison both look really good.
ReplyDeleteMy current YA lit crush is "Savvy" by Ingrid Law. Best of luck in your new position!
